This collaboration model combines a Casio G-SHOCK watch with a Hender Scheme leather strap. This is the first time that a genuine leather band has been used in G-SHOCK's 35-year history.

To create a robust leather strap worthy of the G-SHOCK, which is known for its durability, Hender Scheme uses cowhide tanned in pits by a tanner in Himeji. This "pit tanning" method, which involves tanning leather quietly in a pit, rather than in a drum, results in a robust, densely packed leather.

The case itself is based on the DW-5600 and features a minimalist design, with the brand logo and functions engraved on the back. The precise time is conveyed by the G-Shock digital display, and time is conveyed by the aging of the vegetable-tanned leather strap, a characteristic of Hender Scheme. This model shows the passage of time on two time axes: digital and aging.

Other features include shock resistance (shock resistant), 200m water resistance, stopwatch, multi-alarm/hourly signal, full auto-calendar, 12/24 hour display switching, EL backlight (with afterglow), blue-green, "Hender Scheme" logo displayed when lit, and audible flash (linked to alarm/hourly signal/timer).

Available at Sukima's online shop and Hender Scheme retailers in Japan and overseas.
