Spotify, the world's largest music streaming service, has released its rankings looking back on the music scene in 2017 (collection period: January 1 - November 18, 2017). 

Ed Sheeran was the most-streamed artist on Spotify this year, with his album "➗ (Divide)" (over 3.1 billion streams) and single "Shape of You" (over 1.4 billion streams) not only becoming the most-streamed album and song of the year, but the latter also breaking the record for the most-streamed song on Spotify ever.

In addition, the most streamed Japanese artist in Japan and overseas was ONE OK ROCK, and the most streamed song by a Japanese artist in Japan was the song for the animated film "Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?", which was released in August this year. DAOKO x Kenshi Yonezu's "Uchiage Hanabi," the theme song for the anime "Your Name," took first place.
  

Spotify has also launched two playlists, "My Top Songs 2017" and "Songs I Want to Hear in 2017," that allow users to reflect on their 2017 through music. These special playlists, created just for you, can be found in the "2017 Wrapped" section on Spotify's Browse page.
In addition, a special website has been launched called "Your 2017 Wrapped" (https://2017wrapped.com/ja/), where users can check out the artists and songs they listened to most on Spotify this year by simply following the instructions on the site. Results can be shared immediately on social media, so why not share them with your friends?
