[Updated] "Where's Wally?" Exhibition to be held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse ahead of summer vacation

The picture book series "Where's Wally?", which is set in different time periods and places and tells the story of finding Wally in his red and white shirt in the middle of a crowd, has reached its 30th anniversary since its creation in 1987. To commemorate this, the "Where's Wally? Exhibition" will be held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.

This book has been translated into 38 countries and 30 languages, and the series has sold a total of 60 million copies worldwide, making it a best-seller in Japan, with over 10 million copies sold. This exhibition, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the series, was held at Matsuya Ginza during the Golden Week period from April 18th to May 7th and was met with rave reviews.

This traveling exhibition will feature approximately 150 works, including approximately 50 original drawings by artist Martin Handford making their first appearance in Japan, exclusive art for the exhibition called "Anniversary Ball for Japan," and new art created by art director Io Nakamura, architect Naoki Terada, and photographer Naoki Honjo. In addition, the merchandise corner will feature over 400 original exhibition merchandise items for sale. This is an opportunity to fully enjoy the detailed and humorous "World of WALL-E."
