Nov 30, 2017
"ONE LOVE, WINE LOVE -02," an event bringing together importers and wineries from all over Japan, will be held over two days, December 9th and 10th, in the courtyard of the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo.

This event, which allows you to enjoy around 150 types of wine from around the world along with food that pairs perfectly with the wine, is being held for the second time.

The "Wine Tasting Ticket Set of 5" (2,000 yen), which was well-received last time, allows you to taste five glasses of wine. This set includes affordable, delicious wines that are perfect for everyday life, including domestic wines from Fujimaru Brewery (Osaka and Tokyo), Coco Farm & Winery - Ikegami (Tochigi), Takeda Winery - Kishidaira (Yamagata), Grape Republic (Yamagata), Ajimu Winery (Oita Prefecture), and domaine tetta (Okayama), as well as organic and classic wines from around the world, including Raffine (France and South Africa), GO-TO WINE (New York), Iroha Wine (France), Vinaiota (Italy), Colonial Trade (Australia and New Zealand), and Scorni Wine (Spain). You can also enjoy tasting each wine while listening to explanations about them. Of course, if you find a wine you like, you can always buy it right away.

Craft Food stalls will also be set up at the venue. They will offer a variety of dishes that go well with wine, including yakitori, roast pork, grilled fish, stewed offal, oden, and okonomiyaki. Participating stores include Kitade Shokudo, Yakitori Imai, Yokoyama Catering Service, Rojiura, fato., blanc The Tea Company, Organ Akai Heya, Ginza Lamp, CUMR FOOD TRUCK, bob's ribs, new town kitchen, THE BLUE TRUCK, Akaneko, Tokyo Omelette, Nogeyama Curry Shokudo, An Di, Bricoler, Moiil, and Parlor Ecoda.

In addition, on December 9th, a food lounge (reservations required) will be held where five up-and-coming chefs will serve a one-day-only specialty course lunch featuring an abundance of seasonal vegetables. On the 10th, sommeliers from three restaurants—Akasaka Ajiru-tei, Ginza Lecrin, and Nogizaka Shin—will hold a talk session focusing on "communication through wine." This casual wine event will provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the environment and "food" that should be considered in order to continue enjoying delicious wine.
