Takahiro Yasuda, a graphic designer, movie director, and art director whose diverse work spans a wide range of genres, will be holding his third solo exhibition, "EMERGE," at VOILLD in Nakameguro from December 9th to January 14th, 2018.


Takahiro Yasuda's works, with their refined yet playful designs and seemingly simple yet monotonous yet complexly interwoven lines and surfaces, are composed to reflect his own thinking and the beauty of computer graphics. This exhibition centers around the concept of "seeing," a subject that Yasuda Takahiro has focused on and questioned in recent years, and which has become a fundamental theme in his work. This interest and influence led to the artist exploring how to embody the ambiguous presence of "presence" through graphics, resulting in works created using new materials and printing techniques. Approximately 10 graphic-based two-dimensional works will be on display at the venue. An opening reception featuring the artist will be held on December 8th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. An after-party will also be held at Nakameguro Solfa from 11:00 PM on the same day, featuring performances by MACKA-CHIN, DJ UPPERCUT, TOKYO HEALTH CLUB, and others.
