mina perhonen is holding a "MIX"-themed pop-up event, "mina perhonen☆MIX," at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The event runs until July 2nd. The event, inspired by the meeting of Hikoboshi and Orihime on Tanabata, will feature items created in collaboration with various brands, as well as a clothing collection that mixes previously released patterns with new ones. This marks the brand's first collaboration with Spanish candy shop papabubble and London-based character brand BOBBY DAZZLER (sales of BOBBY DAZZLER began on June 29th). Other collaboration items available include limited-edition and early-bird items like ANTIPAST socks, pudding mugs, the THERMO MUG star design series, and the paper product airvase. Additionally, new fabric and apparel collections such as "HOSHITam," "HANATam," "Yozora," and "summer garden" will be available for limited sale. The new "Mix Bag," a combination of the popular Egg Bag and Mini Bag, has been a hit since the store opened. Designer Akira Minagawa, who visited the event, explained, "This time, I've taken Minagawa's past motifs and arranged them in various ways, based on the theme of 'mix.' I've transformed the 'tambourine' into two different patterns and mixed the 'choucho' and 'noppara' patterns. I also created a new motif called 'Starland' inspired by Tanabata. The dresses and skirts, which replace the 'snow' pattern of 'yuki no hi' with 'stars,' are special items created exclusively for this event." At the event, participants will be able to submit a "fun wish they want to make come true on Tanabata" in-store. Minagawa will then draw an illustration inspired by the wish on a pure white egg bag, creating a one-of-a-kind item. (30 people will be chosen by lottery from those who purchase at the event and apply. The price is 18,900 yen, and the product will be delivered at a later date.)

The event will travel to JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan from July 3rd, and will run until July 16th.
