MAISON KITSUNE has launched its limited-edition capsule collection, "Team Spirit," for the Fall/Winter 2017-18 season. "Team Spirit" is a sporty yet preppy collection inspired by American football. Based on the three colors of the American flag—blue, red, and white—the collection features youthful, nonchalant pieces accented with humorous, eye-catching motifs, such as the brand's iconic "Fox Head" helmet. The women's collection includes a raglan-sleeve T-shirt (14,000 yen) and pullover (40,000 yen) with the brand logo on the front, a Fox Head sweatshirt (30,000 yen), pants, and dresses. Pair the pullover with a white shirt and red star-print jacquard pants for a collegiate look. The puff-sleeve smock dress (42,000 yen) has a soft, airy volume. The red ribbons on the sleeves can be casually draped to create a more dressed-down look, and pairing it with casual sneakers is a fun experience. Meanwhile, the men's lineup includes the same items as the women's, including a raglan-sleeve short-sleeved T-shirt (12,000 yen) and a fox-head sweatshirt (30,000 yen) with a red helmet, as well as a cotton cardigan (43,000 yen) and wool pants (34,000 yen) reminiscent of American college uniforms. The classic western-cut shirt (30,000 yen) features an American football helmet embroidered on the sleeve and a slim-fit silhouette, making it a perfect pair with straight-leg pants or rolled-up jeans. A unisex item also appears: a logo baseball cap (13,000 yen). The capsule collection is currently on sale at the official online store (www.maisonkitsune.fr) and will be available at Maison Kitsune stores nationwide from November 23rd.
