ANREALAGE's "A LIGHT UN LIGHT" exhibition, themed on light, will be held from November 9th to 26th at the Parco Museum in Ikebukuro Parco, Tokyo.

ANREALAGE was founded in 2003 by designer Kunihiko Morinaga. Since its debut, the brand has been committed to the theme of "simultaneously evoking awareness of the everyday (A REAL) and the extraordinary (UN REAL) through clothing." Based on the belief that "God resides in the details," the brand is known for its colorful and intricate patchwork, original silhouettes that are not bound by body lines, and innovative designs that actively incorporate different fields and cutting-edge technology. It currently presents its products at the Paris Collection and is stocked in 50 stores both in Japan and overseas. This exhibition focuses on four collections released since the brand moved its collection presentation venue to Paris in 2014: "SHADOW," "LIGHT," "REFLECT," and its latest collection, "POWER." It chronicles the brand's "struggle" to challenge preconceived notions of "light," a concept traditionally avoided in clothing. The exhibition also features collaborative works with Rhizomatiks Research, a creative collective of artists, designers, and engineers who handled the exhibition's interaction design, as well as Sakanaction's Ichiro Yamaguchi and NF's Shotaro Aoyama, who handled sound direction. Additionally, the venue will be offering an advance sale of the book "A LIGHT UN LIGHT" (2,000 yen, PARCO Publishing), published to commemorate the exhibition, ahead of its general release on November 30th. The 164-page book, which combines the thinking of designer Kunihiko Morinaga with the sensibility of cutting-edge photographer Yoshiyuki Okuyama, captures precious moments that capture the true image of ANREALAGE.

The exhibition will begin in Tokyo and is scheduled to travel to Los Angeles in 2018, with further dates planned for a tour around the world.
