Burberry Prorsum presented its Spring/Summer 2014 men's collection at London Fashion Week. Designer Christopher Bailey designed it. The theme was "Writers and Painters." Inspired by British author Alan Bennett and renowned British painter David Hockney, the collection offers a British gentleman's outdoor style. The bright colors and small polka dots and floral patterns are inspired by Hockney's pop art. All looks feature pleated shirts with slim ties, layered over lightweight cashmere knitwear, vests, and shirts. The bottoms are coordinated with cropped, dark pants that reveal the ankles. Outerwear includes oversized trench coats and jackets, as well as hooded outdoor coats made from waterproof fabric. The collection features soft leather drawstring bags and suede deck shoes.

Burberry Prorsum has presented its men's collections in Milan for the past 10 years, but this year it is moving the show venue to its hometown of London.
