The Nordic Lifestyle Market Season 08: Autumn 2017, an event showcasing the Nordic lifestyle, will be held over two days, October 28th and 29th, at the United Nations University Courtyard Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo.

This Nordic lifestyle market has been held every season since December 2015, emphasizing the craftsmanship inherent in objects and experiences, rather than the superficial brands and lifestyles that one might associate with the word Nordic. This year, the eighth edition of the event will showcase the individuality of the makers and selectors, based on the stories of their passions and ideas, creating a market where you can truly experience craftsmanship. Crafts with this mindset will gather from not only Scandinavia but from all over the world. From Sweden, Öner and Johan, owners of Stockholm Roast, a coffee roaster located on the outskirts of the capital, Stockholm, will be visiting Japan and serving special coffee. Stockholm Roast is such a popular roaster that coffee is almost always served at popular cafes and influential spots in Stockholm. They will also be holding a workshop starting at 10:00 on the 29th. In the United Nations University indoor community lounge, the NORDIC BAR STAND will feature Stockholm Roast as well as Kyrö Napue, HELSINKI DRY GIN, TO ØL, to-mos, and ROUND ROBIN, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of Nordic drinks, including Nordic craft beer and craft gin.

In addition, a total of 29 stores will be exhibiting, including furniture brands ROUND ROBIN, Modern Craft Council, Lewis, nonsense, METROCS, and to-mos, and craft brands Kauniste Finland, NORTH BLESSING, Everyday Scandinavian Tools, korvapuusti, Taivas, Nordic Lifestyle Design, Sunadish, Vejrhøj, MOORIT, In Vivo, QUILT dE UN DOUX, FORSLAG DESIGN, pitea, Swedish Organic Cosmetics, natural line, gochisou, ATEK, Kalonji, LITEN BUTIKEN, and anima garage, where you can enjoy seasonal flowers.
