A special exhibition of the "Objet Nomade Collection" is being held at the Louis Vuitton Omotesando store from October 16th to 31st.

Launched in 2012 and consisting of 25 items created by 12 designers, the collection carries on the tradition of the Maison, which was founded in 1854 as a specialist travel bag store, and is a travel and home collection that features a variety of works created by renowned designers from around the world with the theme of "travel." The designer and the Maison's artisans combine their respective savoir-faire skills to create works that embody a shared ideal: a love of the beauty of fine materials, the potential of form and balanced proportions, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail. In Japan, the collection is available exclusively at the Louis Vuitton Omotesando store. This special exhibition, which will run through the DESIGNART 2017 design and art festival, will showcase select pieces from the collection, including new releases. Select pieces will also be available for pre-order and purchase. This rare opportunity brings together masterpieces with a bold, modern vision, including Marcel Wanders' Diamond Module, Atelier Oi's Swing Boat, and Tokujin Yoshioka's Blossom Stool, which features a monogram petal motif.
