The CELINE HOMME 2023 SUMMER COLLECTION “DYSFUNCTIONAL BAUHAUS” show was held in Paris on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
The CELINE HOMME 23 SS show was held at the Palais de Tokyo, one of Europe's largest centers of contemporary creation. It is a place of activity for today's artists and a platform for emerging talent from all over the world. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the museum's opening, and in 2022, 20 years after Hedi Slimane showed his Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2002 collection at the Palais de Tokyo, he will return to this historic Parisian location with his Celine Homme Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
For his second Dior Homme show, Hedi Slimane wanted to hold it at the Palais de Tokyo, but it was still under construction at the time. Hedi has always been fascinated by monumental Art Deco architecture. Twenty years on, in what is a landmark year for the Palais de Tokyo, Hedi wanted to pay tribute to the institution and commemorate this moment in his menswear reinvention.
