On October 21st, the "MEET@ART" art event, themed around "love," will be held at PAVILION, a restaurant operated by Smiles under the Nakameguro elevated railway.

PAVILION opened in November 2016 as a restaurant not just for satisfying appetites, but also as a place where people can gather, be moved by art, and bring people closer together. This inaugural event, held just before the restaurant's first anniversary, will showcase a collection of "love"-themed artworks, based on the concept of a "place where people meet through art."

For the first event, Sakanaction's Ichiro Yamaguchi and the NF team will present a silent light installation, accompanied by the sound of passing trains, for their new silent song "ANDON." The installation will be permanently exhibited in the 50-meter corridor space at the entrance to the pavilion. Other highlights include an installation by interaction designer Kenichi Okada and spatial designer Kunie Hiyamizu that uses video to express "unintended, indirect encounters," a one-night-only flower shop called "FLOWER" by FLOWERS NEST x Smiles, where "two people meet through flowers," DJ performances by Licaxxx, Seiho, and PELI, and food and drinks from the pavilion.
