Manhattan bicycle shop CHARI & CO has been collaborating with New Balance and T-shirt specialty label BEAMS T to release a sports collection since October 6th.

The "athletic" themed collection centers around the sports of cycling and running, which are suited to the lifestyle of the American East Coast, and features jointly developed apparel and shoes. The collection combines functionality and fashion, with a base color of navy that blends in with the city's atmosphere. The items include the "U520" (18,000 yen), a reproduction of a legendary shoe that was only produced at New Balance's Irish factory for a few years from the late 1970s to the 1980s; the "ATHLETIC JACKET" (39,000 yen), inspired by the popular new Fall/Winter 2017 "NB Athletic 78 Jacket" and designed for ease of cycling; the "SPORTY SIDE TAPE PANT" (22,000 yen), with a deep inseam that is loose up to the knee and a streamlined silhouette below the knee; the "FLEECE RETRO CARDIGAN" (26,000 yen), which is smooth to the touch and fully lined with careful attention to detail; the "FLEECE PANT" (16,000 yen), made from the same material as the fleece jacket and featuring a trendy tapered silhouette with a streamlined silhouette below the knee; and the "LONG SLEEVE" with the logos of both brands on the arm. The lineup includes a T-SHIRT (7,900 yen).
