Burberry will hold its September 2017 collection show at London's historic Old Sessions House courthouse at 3am on September 17th (7pm on the 16th local time). Items will also be available for immediate sale immediately after the show.

The inspiration for the September 2017 collection comes from Britain, as seen through documentary photography, and the people who live there. The collection's worldview is reflected in the work of documentary photographers such as Janette Beckman, Chris Steele-Perkins, Jane Bown, and Dafydd Jones, who have captured the diverse regions, ages, classes, and ethnicities that make up the UK as "social portraits" - from British ethnicities such as Irish, Scottish, and Welsh, to people from all walks of life from the upper class to the working class, and from urban to rural areas.

The show will be streamed live on the official website (https://jp.burberry.com) and this page, and by following Burberry on official social media such as LINE and Instagram, you can find out more about the inspiration behind the show, as well as exclusive backstage and behind-the-scenes footage.

Furthermore, after the show, a Burberry photo exhibition commemorating the 2017 September collection, "Here We Are," will be held at the show venue from September 18th to October 1st. Curated by Christopher Bailey and Lucy Moore with the help of photographer Alasdair McLellan, the exhibition features 200 documentary photographs by 30 of the 20th century's most important photographers, including never-before-seen works by Shirley Baker and Ken Russell, Karen Knorr's images of everyday life among the upper class, Charlie Phillips' images of his hometown Notting Hill, and Brian Griffin's images of British businessmen.
