Approaching summer dressing for vacation destinations, near or far, the Fendi Spring/Summer 2023 collection explores summer dressing through natural hues inspired by the earth, sea, and sky. A playful palette of colors is included, from melon and indigo to ochre putty, cornflower blue, and silvery gray. A free-spirited, wanderlust-driven ethos permeates the collection's optical illusions and techniques, from soft fringe and tassels to terry toweling and beaded daisy chains. Pastoral cowhide motifs on a thermographic coat zoom in and out, showcasing the Earth's swirling weather patterns, while psychedelic FEND-ikat motifs adorn linen and tonal cotton knits. Throughout the collection, denim blends reality and fantasy. Plush robes and cotton twill shirt jackets are adorned with trompe-l'oeil prints, longline five-pocket denim is cut to create faded Fendi Baguette bags and totes, and ultra-lightweight, soft chambray shorts feature feather-like details at the hemline. New slip-on slides feature an oversized all-over "inflatable" motif, bucket hats become visors, crochet cloches have brims, and bracelets, cord pendants, gold chains and signet rings feature Fendi "nuggets," inspired by Fendi family holiday souvenirs immortalized in monogrammed metal.
New FENDI Roma bucket bags and duffle styles feature a wraparound logo and are joined by an oversized washbag shape with two handles, the Peekaboo ISeeU Forty8 in summery vibrant recycled PVC, and the Peekaboo in an indigo denim style with a bottle holder.
