From September 1st to 15th, French fragrance brand Diptyque is showcasing an art installation featuring its hourglass-shaped diffuser, "Le Sablier," at the first-floor entrance (Plaza Exit) of Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center's South Building.
The installation was created in collaboration with Italian artist Felice Limosani, who was inspired by the artistry and technology of "LE SABLIER," the hourglass-shaped diffuser released in April. This marks the third time the diffuser has been exhibited, following its debut at Salone del Mobile, the world's largest furniture fair, held in Milan, Italy, from April 4th to 9th.
"LE SABLIER" slowly diffuses its scent over time, like an hourglass, and its mysterious movements and the droplets of fragrance represent the passage of time. This "fragrance object" has been recognized for its attention to proportion and detail, and has even been patented. The installation combines Le Sablier's geometric form and six exotic scents and colors with beautiful curved art created using Felice Limosani's unique techniques, inviting you to experience time and space like a "game of color and scent."
During the event, hologram cards will be given away at the venue. By presenting the card at Diptyque Futako Tamagawa on the first floor of the building, you can receive fragrance counseling to suit your lifestyle.
