■ "Your Glacial Expectations" by Olafur Eliasson

Olafur Eliasson, the contemporary Scandinavian artist who makes the sun never set in London and suddenly creates waterfalls in New York, is one of the most talked-about artists in the art world today. "Glacial Heritage," the title of this book, refers to the landscape formed by glaciers around Kvadrat, a design textile manufacturer based in Ebeltoft, Denmark, in which Olafur Eliasson installed five oval mirrors resembling frozen puddles. The mirrors reflect the changing sky and lush foliage, surrounded by shrubs and wildlife, creating a site-specific work that incorporates the entire surrounding landscape, a hallmark of Eliasson's work.
