"Kaneko Kuniyoshi" is an exhibition of Kaneko Kuniyoshi, a painter known for his works brimming with the charm of the fin de siècle, including eroticism, dandyism, and decadence. It will be held from August 16th to 21st at the Art Gallery on the 5th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Kaneko passed away in 2015, much to the regret of many, but his works, which can be seen as an homage to beauty, continue to captivate many. The exhibition will feature approximately 40 works, primarily precious oil paintings and prints left in his studio.
