The ondo kagurazaka gallery, located inside the Kamome Books bookstore in Tokyo's Kagurazaka district, is currently hosting illustrator Yuki Sato's solo exhibition "BABY I'm Calling" until August 6th.
Sato held a solo exhibition at the same gallery in 2016 titled "TYPE THE SCENE." In his previous exhibition, he cut out everyday scenes and painted them as if typing on a typewriter. This is his second time, and the exhibition features around 20 works that portray everyday sounds such as ringing bells, voices, the sound of the television, and the meowing of dogs and cats as music, depicting them in a pop, dreamy style.
