RunGirl Night, a women-focused marathon event organized by the female runner group RunGirl, will be held on September 7th. This year, the fourth annual event will feature a completely new theme: "Run & Picnic," with 5k and 10k marathons held in Odaiba. After the finish, a picnic-style after-party will be held at the main venue, Tokyo Metropolitan Shiokaze Park. The venue, designed to resemble an amusement park at night, will feature live performances, a night market, and a runwear fashion show. As a special participation prize, participants will receive a pair of sandals in collaboration with Genbei, a Hayama-based online beach sandal shop. Registration opens at 10:00 AM on the 21st for the general public and 10:00 AM on the 14th for RunGirl members. The 500 yen included in the entry fee (¥6,500 for general participants and ¥1,500 for support staff) will be donated to the NPO Breast Health Research Association. Charity merchandise will also be available for sale on the day of the event.

Run Girl is a group of female runners from the media, fashion, and beauty industries who operate under the concept of "enriching everyday life through the power of women who run." In addition to supporting runners and improving the running environment, they also carry out charity work. A portion of last year's entry fee was donated to support women and runners in areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
