The "Harry Potter Exhibition," a faithful recreation of the world of the Harry Potter films, opened at the Mori Arts Center Gallery on June 22. A recent press preview was attended by actress Mao Daichi, TV personality Terry Ito, and child actor Kanon Tani. Each booth meticulously recreates the setting of the film, showcasing authentic costumes and props used in filming, including Harry's round glasses, wizard's wand, and Quidditch broomstick, the Nimbus 2000. Visitors can also experience hands-on activities, such as sitting in a giant armchair in "Hagrid's Hut," tossing a ball around in the "Quidditch" section, and plucking a mandrake in the "Herbalism Classroom." The exhibition debuted in Chicago in April 2009 and has since traveled to Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, and Singapore. This is its first visit to Japan.
