Stella McCartney's POP fragrance line introduces new scent, POP Bluebell

Aug 23, 2017

Stella McCartney has released a new fragrance, "POP Bluebell," in its POP series, launched in 2016. It will be available at Isetan Shinjuku on August 23rd.
In contrast to the playful hot pink of "POP," "POP Bluebell" comes in a metallic purple bottle, evoking the hustle and bustle of twilight and silence. It represents a thoughtful, courageous, free-spirited woman who allows her imagination to soar.
The fragrance is based on deep, sensual sandalwood, with the delicate yet distinctive scent of English bluebell wafting freshly and softly. The blending of contrasting scents expresses diversity.
The cap and bottle design add a disruptive element to the minimalist form. The cap also pays tribute to the iconic Falabella bag medallion, featuring a vibrant metallic mauve color.

The advertising campaign was shot in the California desert by photographer Glen Luchford. Featuring four creative muses—musician Claire Boucher (aka Grimes), actress and activist Amandla Stenberg, animal rights activist Kenya Kinski-Jones, and performance artist Lourdes Leon—the campaign embodies a new generation of powerful women living today and their free-spirited approach to beauty.

The price is 10,400 yen for 50ml and 13,700 yen for 100ml. Following an early release at Isetan Shinjuku, the campaign will be rolled out to other directly managed stores from September.
