Louis Vuitton will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Objets Nomades collection at the Milan Salone del Mobile 2022. The Maison will showcase the latest designs by Atelier Oi, the Campana Brothers, and Raw Edges, as well as a wide range of products from the collection's 14 designers, in a special exhibition space within the iconic landmark Garage Traversi. Louis Vuitton has also garnered acclaim for showcasing nomadic architecture at previous Salone del Mobile shows. This year, Studio Rochelle's Nova House will be exhibited in the prestigious Piazza San Babila.

Since its launch in 2012, Objets Nomades, a collection of original and highly functional furniture and objects, has continued to evolve, showcasing works by internationally renowned designers. The designers involved in the collaborations are expanding, from Patricia Urquiola to India Mahdavi, Fernando & Humberto Campana, Atelier Oi, Raw Edges, Atelier Biagetti, Zanellato/Bortotte, Andrew Cadres, Tokujin Yoshioka, Frank Chou, nendo, Damien Langlois Maureen, Barber & Osgerby, and Marcel Wanders Studio. Each Objets Nomade is inspired by and reinterprets the essence of travel, a tradition the Maison has cherished for over 160 years, and represents a unique combination of the designer's creativity and Louis Vuitton's unparalleled savoir-faire. Now featuring over 60 pieces, the collection will make a special presence at this year's Milan Salone. Five new "Objet Nomade" pieces will be unveiled at Milan Salone. Swiss design studio Atelier Oi, which has been involved with the Objet Nomade collection since its inception, will present three pieces inspired by the classic "Belt Chair": the "Belt Lounge Chair," the "Belt Bar Stool," and the "Belt Side Stool." Each piece features a seat made of strips of high-quality Louis Vuitton leather, fastened with brass buckles similar to those used on the Maison's bags. The comfortable "Belt Lounge Chair" and portable "Belt Side Stool" feature elegant metal and wood frames, while the tall "Belt Bar Stool" stands out with its graceful metal frame. The Campana brothers present a new four-seater version of their "Bomboca" cushion sofa, named after a sweet treat served at Brazilian weddings and children's parties. The cloud-inspired design features 11 removable upholstered cushions set against a sturdy leather-covered frame. Rounding out the new Objet Nomade range is the Raw Edges Cosmic Table, available in both indoor and outdoor versions. The table's unique "Infinite" carbon fiber base is covered in light-colored Louis Vuitton leather in the indoor version, while the outdoor version is enameled, giving it the appearance of weathered metal. Both versions feature beautiful, meticulously hand-crafted glass tops.

During the Salone del Mobile, a wide range of products from the Objet Nomade collection will be on display in a special exhibition space within the Traversi Garage, one of Milan's landmarks. Spread across two floors of the Traversi Garage, a representative example of Italian rationalist architecture—originally a groundbreaking parking building conceived by Giuseppe de Min in 1939—the exhibition space will allow visitors to experience the ingenuity, imagination, and savoir-faire of the Objet Nomade collection. Products on display include the beautiful, flowing curves of the Signature Sofa and Signature Armchair designed by Frank Chou, the colorful wall decoration Aguacate by the Campana Brothers, the playful pouf Meringue, the breathtaking Petal Chair by Marcel Wanders Studio, and six Objets Nomades released last year, including the elegant Totem Lumineux lighting fixture featuring stacked Murano glass spheres designed by Louis Vuitton Studio.

In addition, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "Objet Nomade", Louis Vuitton will be introducing playful leather "Origami Flowers" designed by Atelier Oi in the heart of Milan. The Maison's publications will be on sale in a bookshop, which will be displayed in a flower shop and remodeled to suit the Maison's unique style.

Furthermore, Louis Vuitton's presence at Milano Salone will be further enhanced by the Nova House, which joins the annual exhibition of nomadic architecture—Charlotte Perriand's La Maison aux Bords de L'Eau (House by the Water, 2015), Matti Sloanen's Futuro House (2017), George Candilis' Hexacube (2018), and Shigeru Ban's Paper Temporary Studio (2019)—this year. Designed in 1972 by architects Michel Udorizier and M. Roma for Studio Rochelle, Nova House is a remarkable egg-shaped living space, its steel frame clad in 180 sheets of custom aluminum alloy. The 45-square-meter structure, which includes two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, will be on display in the city throughout the duration of Milano Salone.

The Louis Vuitton Objets Nomade Collection will be on display at Garage Traversi (Via Bagutta 2, 20121 Milan) on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday, June 8 to Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Nova House will be on display at Piazza San Babila in Milan from Tuesday, June 7 to Sunday, June 12, 2022.
