Head to the Enoshima Aquarium at night! "Night Wonder Aquarium 2017" is being held, themed around an aquarium filled with stars.

Jul 15, 2017

Enoshima Aquarium in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, will host "Night Wonder Aquarium 2017: A Starry Sky Aquarium" from July 15 to December 25. This special event, which has been held annually since 2014, begins at 5 p.m. Offering a new way to enjoy the aquarium at night, the fusion of fish and digital technology creates a time-space that attracted over 400,000 visitors last year. This year, in its fourth year, the theme is "A Starry Sky Aquarium," and the event will feature fantastical video content and beautiful original music, creating a more spectacular, dramatic, and mystical nighttime ocean. The event will be divided into three parts: Part 1 (July 15 to September 30), Part 2 (October 1 to November 23), and Part 3 (November 24 to December 25). Enjoy seasonally-changing content. There will be ceiling illuminations, an experiential learning center, a dolphin show, and in the Jellyfish Fantasy Hall, a projection mapping will be shown, creating a different look from the daytime jellyfish show.
