LOEWE, located on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, will be holding a two-week "Spain Fair" from July 2nd to 15th. The fair will feature items that bring a touch of Spanish summer to the store, including espadrilles and folding fans. The fair was planned to coincide with the "Hola Espana!" event, an event showcasing Spanish food and culture held in the store's sixth-floor event hall, and the 400th anniversary of relations between Japan and Spain. This is a first for the store, and the store will be offering special items exclusively for this occasion. The store will also be selling the "Fan" (¥170,000), a key Spanish item used in flamenco, and the "Manton de Manila" (¥4,900,000), a traditional Spanish silk shawl that is hand-embroidered and only two of its kind in the world. Both items feature the subtle "Anagram" logo.
The "Espadrilles" (49,000 yen), made with Loewe's Napa leather and created in collaboration with the leading Spanish espadrille brand "CASTANER," will be available in a lineup of 11 pop and colorful colors, including new colors such as blue and yellow.
"Loewe is known for its bags, but at the fair we have put together special items that are packed with the skills of our artisans. I think it will be well worth seeing. There will be a wide variety of scarves and espadrilles on display, so you can enjoy coordinating them with your bag," said a sales representative.
Starting on the 9th, new developments will be made, focusing on popular lines such as "Origami Kubo" and "Origami Ara."
