Tod's, with new creative director Andrea Incontri, unveiled its Spring/Summer 2015 men's collection in Milan. Following the acclaimed women's collection under Alessandra Facchinetti, attention focused on the direction of the new brand. The collection, presented in a presentation format at Milan's Contemporary Art Pavilion, featured models roaming through rooms divided by theme. The season's theme was the "J.P. Club," a collection for select customers that helped Tod's grow into a global brand beloved by American celebrities. As Chairman and CEO Diego Della Valle stated, "With Andrea joining the design team, we will be able to offer an even wider range of products for our menswear collection than ever before," the collection proposed a total coordinated collection embodying modern luxury travel style, based on the brand's signature driving shoes and moccasins. "Being part of a company like Tod's is both an honor and an exciting challenge. Quality and contemporary Italian style are Tod's values and form part of my vision of the modern man. My goal is to further develop Tod's rich history and the brand's roots, while always being mindful of the importance of its craftsmanship," commented Andrea Incontri, and in this presentation he proposed bags and shoes that make use of the meticulous handiwork of Tod's artisans, incorporating a modern interpretation of playful ideas. The clothing is made from materials such as wrinkled linen and silk cashmere, and every item is designed to be lightweight and comfortable for formal occasions, making it a collection aimed at jet-setters.
