Tiffany & Co. has unveiled a newly redesigned lineup of NBA postseason trophies, including a redesigned Larry O'Brien Trophy, presented to the NBA's champion team.
Designed in collaboration with artist Victor Solomon, the six trophies are named after legendary figures who have contributed to the development of the NBA and symbolize the excellence of the postseason.
Tiffany & Co.'s relationship with the NBA spans 45 years. The iconic American luxury brand has designed and produced the Larry O'Brien Trophy since 1977, the league's conference championship trophies since 2001, and the Bill Russell Trophy (NBA Finals MVP) since 2005. At Tiffany's hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island, the legendary "Makers" craft more than 65 trophies each year, along with hundreds of other designs. Solomon and Tiffany collaborated to create an evolved design for the NBA postseason trophy, redefining how the league's champions will be celebrated for the next 75 years and beyond.
NBA Finals Trophy
Larry O'Brien Trophy

The trophy awarded to the winning team of the NBA Finals has been named after Larry O'Brien since 1984, and honors his achievements as the NBA's third commissioner from 1975 to 1984, when he led the negotiations for four ABA teams to join the NBA and secure a national television contract. The newly announced design stands 25.5 inches tall and weighs approximately 30 pounds. It features three key improvements:
- By moving the net and ball forward, the design symbolizes the league's forward-looking vision.
- The 24k gold vermeil has been masked, revealing sterling silver to highlight the ball and net channel.
- The base has been redesigned with two stacked discs. The upper disc features the names of all NBA champions from the first to the 75th. Beginning this year, the NBA champion team name will be engraved on the lower disc, ensuring each team receives a unique trophy. The second disc has enough space to engrave the names of the next 25 NBA champions in preparation for the NBA's 100th anniversary season. The base of the trophy features the new NBA Finals logo.
Bill Russell Trophy

The NBA Finals MVP has been named after Bill Russell since 2009, honoring the legendary player who won 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons. While the Bill Russell Trophy retains its original dimensions of 17.25 inches tall and 11 pounds, it now features a new gold vermeil finish to match the Larry O'Brien Trophy and similar masking for clear visibility of the net and basketball channel.
NBA Conference Champion Trophies
The NBA named its conference championship trophies after two NBA legends, Bob Cousy and Oscar Robertson, to honor their outstanding contributions on the court and their influence on the league as early presidents of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).
Like the original trophies created in 2001, the Eastern and Western Conference championship trophies each feature a symbolic silver basketball divided into four sections. The four sections represent key milestones on the path to the NBA Finals: playoff appearances, first-round wins, conference semifinal appearances, and conference finals wins. The base features the logos of each conference's 15 teams and the conference finals. The sterling silver trophies are 15.6 inches tall and weigh 31 pounds for the Western Conference, and 15.6 inches tall and 28 pounds for the Eastern Conference. Etching on the bases of both trophies features the origins of their namesakes and the scores for each round. The Eastern Conference trophy is supported by three posts, while the Western Conference trophy has two rings.
Bob Cousy Trophy

Cousy, known as "Mr. Basketball" and "Houdini on the Court" for his innovative playmaking, has been selected to every commemorative team in league history (25th, 35th, 50th, and 75th). In addition to winning six NBA Finals titles, Cousy was an NBA MVP, a 13-time NBA All-Star, a 12-time All-NBA Team selection, and a two-time NBA All-Star Game MVP. As the first president of the NBPA, Cousy helped secure important benefits for his fellow basketball players.
"I have been part of the NBA family since 1950, and after my playing career, one of my greatest joys has been watching the game continue to evolve into what it is today. There is nothing in sports like representing your conference in the NBA Finals, and I am thrilled that the NBA has given me the honor of being associated with the Eastern Conference champions for years to come," said Cousy.
Oscar Robertson Trophy™

Oscar Robertson, affectionately known as "The Big O," was the first NBA player to average a triple-double in a season. An NBA champion, NBA MVP, 12-time NBA All-Star, 11-time All-NBA Team selection, NBA Rookie of the Year, three-time NBA All-Star Game MVP, and a member of the league's 35th, 50th, and 75th Anniversary Teams, Robertson is considered one of the greatest all-around players in NBA history. He was also the first African-American to serve as president of the NBA Professional Baseball Association (NBPA), and played a pivotal role in reforming the NBA Draft and introducing free agency. "I am thrilled that the NBA Western Conference Champions Trophy bears my name. Decades ago, I played in a highly competitive, emerging league packed with incredible talent. To me, this trophy represents not only my own efforts to improve the league, but the efforts of all future Oscar Robertson Trophy™ recipients toward NBA greatness," said Robertson.
NBA Conference Finals MVP Trophy
Larry Bird and Earvin "Magic" Johnson helped shape the NBA into what it is today through their individual talents and the achievements of their teams in the 1980s. Their rivalry across the Western and Eastern Conferences captured the hearts of fans and played a crucial role in elevating the league to new heights. Each year, the trophies awarded to the Eastern and Western Conference Finals MVPs will bear their names, paying homage to these two NBA legends.
Each Conference Finals MVP trophy, like the Conference Champion Trophy, features a sterling rubber ball. The bottom features a 24K gold vermeil net, echoing the new Finals MVP trophy. The overall trophy stands 14 inches tall and weighs approximately 5 pounds.
Larry Bird Trophy

Bird's illustrious career includes three NBA championships, three NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, two NBA Finals MVP Awards, 12 NBA All-Star Teams and 10 All-NBA Teams, an NBA Rookie of the Year title and one NBA All-Star Game Award, and selection to the NBA's 50th and 70th Anniversary Teams.
"I am incredibly honored that the NBA Eastern Conference Finals MVP Trophy will bear my name. This decision holds special meaning as I know how difficult it is to reach the Eastern Conference Finals and be recognized as MVP," said Larry Bird.
Earvin Magic Johnson Trophy

Regarded as one of the greatest point guards of all time, Johnson has built a legacy of excellence that includes five NBA championships, three NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, three NBA Finals MVP Awards, 12 NBA All-Star Teams and 10 All-NBA Teams, two NBA All-Star Game MVP Awards, and selection to the NBA's 50th and 70th Anniversary Teams. "The NBA Conference Finals is the team's final hurdle before they reach the big stage of the NBA Finals," said Johnson. "I'm incredibly proud to have my name engraved in history with the Western Conference Finals MVP trophy. This trophy recognizes the player who excels on both ends of the court, elevates their teammates' performance, and leads their team to the highest stage in basketball."
