Ebisu chocolatier JOHN KANAYA will be adding a "Christmas Tart" and a "Bonbon Chocolat Assortment" to its menu in December.
John Kanaya offers "Japanese Modern" chocolates that blend East and West. The Christmas-only menu item is the "Christmas Tart" (3,500 yen), which allows you to enjoy the mellow aroma of ganache made with Japanese single malt whiskey. Its slightly smaller size makes it the perfect gift for yourself or to enjoy with a special someone.
The store will also be offering a "Bonbon Chocolat Assortment" (10,000 yen), an assortment of 21 flavors based on John Kanaya's classic bonbon chocolates. There are five types of chocolate based on four themes: "Standard" made with simple chocolate; "Japanese" with added Japanese peppercorns, shiso leaves, and ginger; "Sake" with adult flavors like Nocello, absinthe, and red wine; and "Fruit" with fruit flavors like lychee and sudachi. The lineup also includes "Champagne Pearls," which incorporate Dom Pérignon for an elegant aroma. Reservations for the Christmas tarts are open until the 20th. Available at John Kanaya Ebisu, Skytree Town Solamachi, and Printemps Ginza.
