
Jewelry brand GRANDMATIC is holding a pop-up event in the accessories corner on the first floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The event runs until March 17th. The brand is directed by Michiko Nakayama, designer of MUVEIL. For the SS15 season, marking its third year since its debut, the collection is based on the theme, "She always wore her grandmother's cute accessories." The event will feature a one-of-a-kind necklace (140,000 yen) made from vintage materials purchased by the designer in Paris. A limited edition of 20 original hair ties (6,000 yen) featuring large pearls will also be available. The new jewelry, in line with the "DEEP SEA MONOCROME" theme of MUVEIL's SS15 collection, features a wide range of items with motifs such as shells, starfish, and coral reefs. This collection uses a proprietary mousse pearl, which has the beauty and lightness of sea foam.
