The Louis Vuitton Omotesando store (5-7-5 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) reopened its first and basement floors on March 13th after undergoing renovations. The women's floor, renovated with a white-based interior, now has a bright, warm atmosphere. The basement floor is structured like a semi-basement. It continues to the back of the first floor, and one of the key features of this renovation is the spacious, deep space that can be seen from the entrance. The first floor displays leather goods, primarily bags, from the Spring/Summer 2015 women's collection. The counter has been removed, creating a spacious floor plan that allows customers to move freely. New pre-release items and bags in new colors are lined up along the walls. Women's ready-to-wear items are also displayed along with accessories at the back of the first floor. Currently, the store displays the SS15 collection, including the Sticker Collection, featuring prints of 1950s and 1960s realism art and travel stickers from suitcases, alongside leather goods. Further down the steps to the basement, you'll find a wide selection of accessories and textiles, including the pre-release Monogram Ramage and Monogram V.
The second floor, featuring watches and fine jewelry, offers a more intimate space. The third floor, featuring women's ready-to-wear and shoes, is brightly lit with soft natural light, matching the first floor. The artwork hanging from the ceiling is by Studio Sawada Design. Inspired by sunlight filtering through the trees, it blends seamlessly into the luxurious and relaxing atmosphere.
The fourth and fifth floors are dedicated to men's wear, featuring a dark color scheme. The full lineup, including the new V-line, is on display. Each floor at the Louis Vuitton Omotesando store offers its own distinctive style. With this renovation, the store has become a more sophisticated large flagship store, allowing young customers and tourists passing through Omotesando to easily enjoy the world of Louis Vuitton and its wide range of products.
