Katsumi Asaba solo exhibition at Ginza ggg, typography exhibition from the 1960s to the present

Ginza Graphic Gallery will be holding art director Katsumi Asaba's solo exhibition, "ASABA'S TYPOGRAPHY," from January 9th to 31st.

Katsumi Asaba specializes in advertising design, and has worked on numerous projects, including Seibu Department Store's "Delicious Life" and Suntory's "Yume Kaido." These efforts have been highly acclaimed, and he has received numerous art awards in the past, including the Japan Advertising Artists Club Special Selection and the Japan Academy Prize for Best Art Direction.

The exhibition will focus on typography, but will also feature a wide range of new works, including collages and hanging scrolls. Further developments will also be revealed for the diary entries that were unveiled at the 2008 exhibition "Traces of Prayer."
