This series introduces makeup tips for spring/summer from the SS15 runway. The third installment is Alexander Wang.

The sneaker-focused collection has a futuristic, sporty feel. Neon colors, color blocking, and tight silhouettes create an athletic atmosphere. The accompanying makeup is also bold and energetic, sporty. The key is a luminous highlighter and deep blush that accentuates the contours.

First, thoroughly moisturize the skin with a moisturizing cream. Apply a layer of Sheer Glow Foundation for a translucent, radiant complexion.

Next, lightly pat a bronze blush under the cheekbones with your fingers. A darker blush will create a firmer contour. For highlighting, I used NARS Dual Intensity Blush Craving (the color on the left). I dipped it quickly along the cheekbones to add brightness. The contrast of light and shadow creates a three-dimensional effect. Gold eyeshadow was used for the eyes. Her hair is pulled back in a minimalist style.

The collection as a whole evokes an active, tough woman, but pleated details add a romantic touch. The makeup also brings out the strength of her facial features while retaining femininity. The look is clean and refined.
