Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Friday, Daikanyama T-Site (17-5 Sarugaku-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) will introduce a book selected by the store.

■ "Louis Vuitton: The Icons and the Iconoclasts: Celebrating Monogram" by Jo-Ann Furniss

In 1996, the centennial of Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram canvas, seven artists, including Vivienne Westwood, Manolo Blahnik, Helmut Lang, and Azzedine Alaïa, created the "Seven Designers Series" using the Monogram as a motif.

Eighteen years later, in the fall of 2014, six new artists presented a collection that deconstructed and reconstructed the Monogram. The new collection, which strongly reflects the individual personalities of artists such as Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson, and Rei Kawakubo, has once again captured the hearts of collectors.

This book features visuals from the fall 2014 collection and the inspirations of each designer. The book was designed and edited by M/M Paris, with illustrations by Jean-Philippe Delorme.
