TOD'S will release the Japan-exclusive "Gommino" women's shoes from its Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The "Gommino," which debuted with the brand's founding, is an iconic shoe that remains a firm favorite. Each season, it's crafted in refined leathers, including high-quality suede and velvety nubuck, and is available in a vibrant color palette. The specially crafted, Japan-exclusive women's "Gommino" comes in two styles: ratchet and coin loafer. The ratchet style with leather ribbon (59,000 yen) is available in four colors, including the brown and light gray styles with braided ribbons. The other coin loafer style (56,000 yen) is available in black and white. Both styles are available in sizes 34 to 40 (including half sizes). Both styles feature a polka-dot insole with a nautical touch, creating a chic yet playful design that reveals a unique look when taken off. The same design will also be available for juniors (29,000 yen), so mother and child can coordinate their footwear.
These Japan-exclusive Gommino designs will be available for pre-sale at the limited-time event "The JOY of Family" to be held at Isetan Shinjuku store from the 4th, prior to their release at Tod's boutiques nationwide on March 11th.
