Noir Kei Ninomiya, the brand's youngest designer, presented his Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection during Paris Fashion Week with his first model presentation. Though the show was held in the Comme des Garçons showroom, it attracted significant attention, including the presence of Sarah Andelman, director of select shop Colette. True to its name, the brand consistently presents a black-themed collection each season. This season, the black seemed to have more depth. Eye-catching details included floral and box-shaped details crafted from synthetic leather, covering coats, riders, and dresses. Skirts with gold foil inserts and coats with white quilting covered in black tulle offered a fresh look, using colors other than black. The collection showcases interesting details in black, including a knitwear woven with knit and leather tape, a dress knitted with thick cord, a cotton skirt with glass beads and flocked print, and a coat with a circle pattern made with studs. The brand's first rider jacket made from cowhide leather may look ordinary at first glance, but it is an elaborate piece with all chain stitching on the edge.
The collection also features a full selection of accessories, which were introduced last season. Clutch bags and backpacks with box details all over were unveiled.
