Stella McCartney's Winter 2015 collection was unveiled on March 9th. Gentle silhouettes, soft materials, and sculptural details evoked the image of a nonchalant woman. A coat with a form-fitting top and a flared bottom, a knit dress with one sleeve that covered the fingers, a dress with slit half-sleeves and a flowing handkerchief hem, and a crocheted maxi dress all gracefully swayed and exuded a nonchalant atmosphere. Materials included melange knit, sustainable wool grown in Patagonia, and felt, creating a soft impression. Jacquard and embroidered metallic fabrics mixed with soft tweed and melton created a feminine style. For evening wear, a structured look featured a bustier draped in layers of petal-like fabric. In a world of black and white, an abstract twisted pearl necklace around the neck shines as an accent.
