Stella McCartney unveiled its 2015 Summer collection on September 29th. Diagonal knitwear, asymmetrical jabot hems, and oversized outerwear create a smooth, airy summer look. Large stitch-like embroidery at the hems, perforated cutwork, and oversized buckles add design accents. Sailor pants and wide culottes add movement, while tops and skirts sway gracefully with generous flares. Occasionally, oversized necklace chains are tucked inside, characteristic of the brand's signature PVC-free eco-products. Knit dresses reveal skin, evoking a natural sexiness. Long MA-1 jackets and trench coats in checked, skin beige, and white silk are light enough to catch the wind and flutter wildly. The collection concludes with a shift from muted colors to vibrant, handmade floral embroidery and vibrant prints. The mix of prints and embroidery left a fun impression and the show ended on a positive note.
