Wrecking Crew Orchestra is a dance group whose "glowing dance" using EL wire has been featured in TV commercials for Sony's Xperia smartphone, creating a buzz. It has been revealed that their leader, YOKOI, will be the choreographer and director for Miyamoto Amon's new production, "SUPERLOSERZ SAVE THE EARTH: Losers Save the World," which opens on December 5th. Formed in 2003, Wrecking Crew Orchestra has appeared on TV shows such as "Sekaiichi no SHOW Time," and has performed all over the world, including in London, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Singapore.


Miyamoto Amon, who has long had an eye on these characters, is responsible for the composition and direction of his new work, "SUPERLOSERZ SAVE THE EARTH: Losers Save the World." The story is set in a future Earth where technology is restoring abundant nature, but the gap between rich and poor has widened. One day, Earth is struck by an alien attack, plunging it into the greatest crisis in its history. Amid this, the story unfolds as a group of society's underdogs, ostracized and ignored by society, rise up and perform a miracle.

In the theater, this story is told without dialogue, using only projection mapping, laser light and sound, video, dance, and action. Based on street dance, the group combines various elements and incorporates a generous amount of adult playfulness to create an unprecedented piece of entertainment.
