MSGM's Pre-Fall 2015 collection was inspired by the music video "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys, a hip-hop group representative of the '90s. While their signature graphics are bold, the Pre-Fall collection boldly incorporates hearts and stars, playing with embroidery and brooches throughout. From the new Fall/Winter collection, this coordinated sweatshirt (49,000 yen) and skirt (36,000 yen) are part of the collection. The brand's classic sweatshirt features a robot design made with sequins and jewels. The skirt, featuring an all-over pattern of irregular stars, exudes punkish energy. Both pieces elevate a '90s mood with a modern, kitschy touch. While the robot-pattern sweatshirt is only available in black, it's also available in dark and light gray with different motifs. Miniskirts are also available in black with blue stars.
