Dior has unveiled its first beachwear capsule collection in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans. Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Dior Men's Collections, partnered with Parley for the Oceans, an environmental organization and collaborative network addressing marine environmental issues under the guiding principle "Parley AIR: Avoid, Intercept, Redesign." The collaboration embodies the Maison's desire for a greener, more sustainable fashion future. Plastic and fishing gear collected from beaches and remote islands around the world* are upcycled into high-performance materials, then handcrafted by artisans in Dior's ateliers into high-quality fabrics, including jacquard, mesh knit, and technical canvas. This unique, nature-inspired collection will be available in official online boutiques and in Dior boutiques nationwide from April 14, 2022. *Refers specifically to the Maldives, Dominican Republic and Sri Lanka.
