It has been announced that Tokyu Department Store will open a new type of fashion select shop within the large-scale commercial facility "(tentative name) Ginza 5-chome Project," scheduled to open next spring.

In 2012, Tokyu Department Store opened "SginQs," a commercial facility within Shibuya Hikarie that combines the strengths of a department store and a shopping center. Other new business ventures include opening specialty stores such as the Futako Tamagawa Tokyu Food Show, a specialty food store, and the small clothing and accessories store "mikke," in commercial facilities along the Tokyu Coastal Line.

The new select shop, which will also serve as the facility's anchor store, will offer a new type of "adult fashion" that will express the feelings and scenes of adults who appreciate high-quality and sophisticated fashion, while also valuing new discoveries and encounters, through its merchandising and environment. The store aims to be a select shop that adults who enjoy fashion aspire to and relate to. The approximately 2000m2 floor space will feature trendy domestic and international brands and a selection of exquisite items carefully selected by discerning buyers.
