A tribute to Monsieur Dior's love of flowers. Dior Maison's first gardening collection, "Lucky Millie," is here.

Apr 16, 2022

"I inherited my mother's passion for flowers and was happiest when I was with plants and gardeners," Christian Dior said in his autobiography. Featuring Christian Dior's lucky charms, lily of the valley and shamrock motifs, the new Lily of the Valley tableware line includes wicker placemats, baskets, frames and boxes, as well as porcelain plates and decorative glass. For the coming spring, the Dior Maison is launching its first gardening collection, titled "Lucky Millie." This series of exclusive creations, designed by Cordelia de Castellane, is inspired by Monsieur Dior's love of flowers. His love for flowers began as a child, and it evokes memories of spending time with his mother in the rose gardens of Granville, Normandy. Echoing these idyllic memories, items such as aprons, garden gloves, and flowerpot holders are gracefully adorned with shamrock motifs. Featuring the handwritten "CHRISTIAN DIOR" logo, the pieces are adorned with vibrant green, white, and ochre tones, evoking the elegance of plants. The collection will be available in the official online boutique and select Dior boutiques from late April.
