Sep 21, 2015

To celebrate the release of "The Intern," a film starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, the "Tabikobo! 'The Intern' Release Commemorative Tour in New York" has gone on sale. This tour takes you around the New York locations where the film was set.

"The Intern" depicts the glamorous fashion industry in New York. The drama unfolds between Jules, played by Anne Hathaway, the CEO of a fashion website who enjoys a fulfilling life both professionally and personally, and Ben, played by Robert De Niro, a newcomer 40 years her senior who comes to work for Jules.

This tour, released to commemorate the release of the film, was planned by Tabikobo in collaboration with Warner Entertainment Japan and the New York City Convention and Visitors Bureau. The tour includes accommodations at the Four Seasons Hotel New York, which was also the venue for the film's cast interviews, and the McCarran Hotel & Pool Chelsea in Brooklyn. The tour will allow you to fully enjoy the New York setting of the film, including Prospect Park, where Jules and Ben practiced tai chi, and Teddy's Bar and Grill, the bar where Jules and Ben drank.

The first 40 people to sign up for the tour will receive original movie merchandise such as a tote bag, shoehorn, and pamphlet. Additionally, one pair of people who apply after watching the trailer at a designated theater or on the website will be entered into a lottery to win a round-trip ticket to New York.

The tour will last from 5 to 8 days, and prices range from 141,000 to 546,000 yen.
