Marc Jacobs Bookstore celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a special artist event

Sep 22, 2015

MARC JACOBS' bookstore, BOOKMARC, is holding a special event to celebrate its second anniversary. A release party was held in New York in early October, attracting attention, and the store will be releasing "GLOSS: THE WORK OF CHRIS VON WANGENHEIM," the first photo book by leading 1970s fashion photographer Chris von Wangenheim (¥10,000). Chris von Wangenheim, known for his sensational photographs that combine sexiness and unrest, has also appeared in fashion magazines such as Harper's BAZAAR and Vogue. A commemorative T-shirt (¥7,000) featuring the "GLOSS" logo on the front will also be released. An event featuring Tokyo- and London-based artist SHOKO will also be held. Her major debut album, "A Love Letter to London" (3,000 yen), is scheduled to be released on October 7th, and her book, "SHOKO's London Fashion Style Book - How to Hone Your Stylish Sense So You Can Be Yourself" (1,800 yen), is scheduled to be released on October 9th. Bookmark will be holding a party to commemorate these releases, and the book will also be sold in advance at the same venue exclusively to coincide with the release of the CD.
