Gucci unveils new window display featuring the cruise collection's "Herbarium Rose Print" motif

Sep 23, 2015

Gucci unveiled a new window design to coincide with the launch of its 2016 Cruise Collection.

The new window design was inspired by Alessandro Michele's 2016 Women's Cruise Fashion Show. It creates a stage-like space, covering the floor, walls, chairs, and torsos with the Herbarium Rose print featured in the show.

The print is unified in cherry red for women's collection and emerald green for men's. The Herbarium Rose print throughout accentuates the charm of the handbags, shoes, and torsos placed on the chairs.

Some chairs are installed horizontally from the back wall or fixed upside down to the ceiling, creating a surreal space that confuses the viewer's sense of distance and gravity. The women's window features a chair embroidered with a snake, while the men's window features a chair embroidered with a tiger.
