〈PETROSOLAUM〉Starting April 13, 2022, the men's shoes section of Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building will host a pop-up featuring custom-made events, inviting shoe brand PETROSOLAUM, based in its atelier in Shibuya, Tokyo. In response to the growing demand for "high-fashion leather shoes" that seamlessly connect various scenes as lifestyles become more diverse, the brand takes a different approach to dress shoes, combining functionality with the beauty of art pieces that reflect a unique philosophy based on traditional manufacturing methods. This marks the brand's first pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku.
During the period, in addition to unveiling new 22AW models, approximately 14 styles from the in-line collection selected by Isetan Men's buyers will be available, including the brand's signature model, "side gore." In addition, a limited-time order event will be held where customers can select their combination of size, manufacturing method, material, and color. You can make your one-of-a-kind pair of shoes come true. Designer Soutaro Ogino will be visiting the store for three days, April 13th, 16th, and 17th, offering a space for communication that can only be found in a physical store. It will be a space where you can hear valuable stories, such as the background to the production, which you don't usually get to hear.

Additionally, models selected by Isetan Men's buyers from the inline collection will be released. The lineup includes classic models such as the "hidden derby" and "side gore," beloved as iconic brands, boasting beautiful forms and a comfortable, roomy fit. Crafted from PETROSOLAUM's signature cordovan bat leather, a blend of cordovan and suede, these shoes allow wearers to enjoy the changing texture of the leather from the toe to the heel. The lineup includes a variety of models, including loafers, chukka boots, and whole-cut shoes, which are packed with craftsmanship, only possible because the brand develops its products in its own atelier.
