Hermès to hold first exhibition and sale of "Petit H" object collection in Kyoto

Sep 30, 2015

Hermès will hold an exhibition and sale of its "petit h" collection at Shosei-en Garden in Kyoto from October 4th to 11th.

"Petit h" is a collection that brings together artists and designers, different materials, and the craftsmanship of different métiers (departments) to create original and playful objects. Born from the vision of Pascal Mussard, a sixth-generation Hermès family member, "Petit h" has a permanent exhibition at the Hermès Sèvres store in Paris, as well as limited-time exhibitions around the world.

This is the first time that "Petit h" will be exhibited in Japan outside of Tokyo. The collection will be shown outside the Hermès boutique at Kyoto Takashimaya, where the event is being held, in the beautiful Shosei-en Garden. As with the Tokyo event, graphic designer Kazunari Hattori was responsible for the spatial composition.
