Acne Studios has announced its first full bag collection. It became available at Acne Studios stores and on its official website (acnestudios.com) on December 8th.

The collection consists of three styles: "Rope styles," "Buckle jeans," and "Hero jeans." The "Rope styles" line includes three models: the "Rope jungle backpack" (176,000 yen), the "Rope messenger bag" (176,000 yen), and the "Rope hip bag" (108,000 yen). The series is inspired by the "rope" details featured in the 2015-16 AW collection, and by using rope stitching techniques in the design, the leather appears compact in volume. The bag also comes with an adjustable strap resembling a guitar strap. Available colors include red, yellow, blue, navy, black, and beige. The "Buckle Jeans" (190,000 yen) are designed by combining a champagne bag, originally designed for carrying champagne, with jeans' distinctive details, such as white stitching, a center seam, and a buckle. The most practical of the collection, the "Hero Jeans" (149,000 yen), is based on the "Rope Styles" design, but features a square shape like a shopping bag for increased capacity. Both are available in five colors: glycine, blue denim, cognac, black, and beige. In addition to these bags, a new style of bag made from leather and canvas will be released as part of the 16SS men's collection in mid-January 2016. The collection includes a backpack, a shoulder bag with an inner pouch, a briefcase, and a clutch, all featuring striking trapezoid shapes.
