This sustainable collection is crafted exclusively from environmentally friendly recycled and organic materials. Now in its fourth season, the collection features 25 items with a sporty vibe based on the theme of "surfing." This special collection consistently uses only sustainable materials, adopting a sustainable approach in the manufacturing process, from material production to packaging finishing. Designer Giorgio Armani is actively involved in addressing environmental and social issues, and this approach to the SDGs is important for a fashion brand committed to social responsibility. The Spring/Summer 2022 collection is themed around "surfers," expressing the brand's metropolitan spirit while creating a colorful, sporty, sun-kissed collection. Sporty elements featuring traditional surfing motifs are combined with EMPORIO ARMANI's creative work to create a wide range of highly fashionable pieces. The women's collection features a total of 25 items, including outerwear, tops, bottoms, sneaker boots, and one-piece swimwear.

This season's sustainable collection features striking bold graphic designs such as psychedelic wave motifs, stripes, borders and check patterns in a vibrant colour palette including neon colours.

The reversible blouson can be worn on both sides - chic black (front) and vibrant pink (back) - and combines stylish design with high functionality. Also available are pants that go perfectly with sporty outfits, and boxy T-shirts with colorful patch designs on the chest.

In addition to stylish items, the brand also offers simple designs that can be worn daily. The lineup includes trench coats that will be useful in the coming season, as well as sweatshirts and shorts that are recommended as one-mile wear. Neon-colored one-piece swimsuits will also be available, perfect for midsummer beach days.

All items in this collection are made from recycled or recyclable materials certified by the GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD. A variety of fabrics are used, including fluorine-free, water-repellent recycled nylon crepe, organic cotton, recycled nylon, and recycled elastane. Additionally, the product packaging is certified compostable, further highlighting the project's thorough environmental considerations. The sustainable collection for both men and women will be launched simultaneously worldwide from March 30th and will be available at EMPORIO ARMANI boutiques and the official website in Japan. The men's collection will also be available at Men's Creators on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from April 6th to 19th, and at a pop-up shop at the ESTNATION Roppongi store from April 20th to May 3rd.
